The Great Meme Hop

Today, I am participating in the Meme blog hop, hosted by Christine Rains, C. Lee McKenzie, and Tara Tyler. I'm supposed to create a meme that encourages, inspires, or amuses you. I thought long and hard about this. Usually, I go for the amusing option. But this time, I'm going to do something different. I'm going to inspire.

So, this is for everyone who thinks they are at the end of their rope. People going through hard times. Writers feeling like they can't get a break and are getting rejection after rejection. Anyone who just needs a lift. Hang in there!

Here's my creation for you:

  14. Hi, Sherry. I'm so glad you commented on my fairly new wordpress site so I could come over here and really meet you. What a bright and welcoming site. I also clicked to your website. So impressed with your musical accomplishments and awards! Many, many moons ago I wanted to be a great musician. Studied piano and violin enough to play well, but not the level you're at....and my life went other directions. I can still remember first and third positions on the violin. You brought these memories back to me. Thanks! I've signed up to follow you via email. And I want to read your Mama Grouch story. I've definitely been the "grouch" route. Cheers!

    1. Hi Ann! Thank you so much for visiting both this page and my website! Welcome back to the blogging community! How nice that you played piano and violin. Music is such a nice hobby to have. I hope that someday you will try playing the piano again. (And yes, I think all of us parents have gone the "grouch" route. :)

  16. Oh to be a butterfly, it is goodness which gives excellence and so I say we have much to hope from the bees, flowers and the butterflies.

  17. That is one my very favorite quotes. I had a life changing surgery and a friend gave me a live butterfly in cocoon. I watched it evolve and hatch and then I set it free. It was a Monarch butterfly. They say once a butterfly emerges it lives appx 2 weeks and spends the whole lifespan going back to its hatching grounds, that its in there DNA. Here is a video of the migration. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z9rZz3fILt4
