A Little Travel Music

My kids like to have their music on when we drive in the car. Usually it's stuff you hear on the radio, but the other day, my daughter had something on that sounded a little different.

"What are you listening to?" I asked.

She grinned. "Sponge Bob Square Pants Campfire Song."

"Are you serious?"

"I bought it on iTunes."

I couldn't believe it. My teenaged daughter bought a Sponge Bob Square Pants song and was blasting it at high volume in my car.

Of course my son, thought that was great. Soon, both kids were singing along.

So, in case you want to hear what I had to listen to over and over for twenty minutes, click on this link.

    1. It was ridiculous! I think I'm going to put my classical music on just to drive them crazy! ;)

  2. I'd tolerate about five seconds of that before the metal came on instead.

  5. Well, I have to say I love Spongebob. I've watched it a lot with the kids, but I couldn't have that song on repeat!

    1. Sponge Bob was a favorite at my house, too. But too much of a good thing, isn't so good.

  6. There's an age where the kiddie things are cool again. I want to say it's 16, but I think it depends on the teen and what the teen's friends are into.

    1. So busy down here - mostly with music, but I've done a considerable amount of writing, too. Guess I get a lot done when I'm not online blogging! ;)
