I'm always complaining about my family members not cleaning up their dirty clothes. I don't understand why it's so difficult for them to get their things off the floor and put them in the hamper.
Well, today my husband had a brilliant solution to the problem. I walked into my bedroom and looked up. Hanging from the ceiling fan, was a pair of underwear, an undershirt, and a pair of socks.
"Really?" I said.
My husband came in with a huge grin on his face. "They're not on the floor, are they?"
He had a point. But I bet it took a lot longer to get those things on the fan, than it would've taken to walk over to the hamper and toss them in!
But where's the fun in that?
ReplyDeleteI need to try that...
You do that and see how much your lovely wife likes it!
DeleteI bet you're right! LOL
ReplyDeleteI hope he had fun doing it!
DeleteOh my gosh. Too much.
ReplyDeleteThat's my man!
DeleteThat is funny! Your family always has creative ideas! D
ReplyDeleteI'd say they're all nuts!
DeleteHA! I love to aggravate my wife with silly things. Have your husband make a list, so I can use them on my wife! My wife follows your blog so have him email it to me. :-)
ReplyDeleteHahahaha! If your wife read your comment, she's going to be expecting underwear overhead! ;0)
Deletegood thing the fan wasn't on... imagine the smell in the room if it was.....
ReplyDeleteHe actually turned the fan on, because he thought they'd come down if they started spinning. No such luck. But yes, if those garments had been another day older, I'm sure the stench would've been unbearable! ;0)
DeleteI think he wanted to make you smile.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
Ha! He succeeded!
Deletehaha at least you don't have to bend over to pick them up
ReplyDeleteThat's looking at the bright side!
DeleteI hope there was no stains
ReplyDeleteThey'd be up pretty high, so at least I can't see them! ;0)
DeleteMaybe he just wanted to air them out
ReplyDeleteHa! Fan dried. ;)
DeleteThe ceiling fan? Seriously? That solution sounds more crazy than brilliant to me, heh...
ReplyDeleteMy husband's solutions are always a little on the crazy side!
DeleteSeems to be funny!! In our house also used to throw the clothes here and there. Now i have trained my kid to put his dirty clothes properly in the bin. So when his father is not doing he used to tell him to put. Now house looks clean.
ReplyDeleteLucky you! My family is not so easily trained.
DeleteOh no he didn't….
ReplyDeleteI can only imagine the smirk he had on his face...
He was very proud of himself!
DeleteI'm so worried my son is going to grow up and become a husband who leaves his things on the floor. I feel sorry for his future wife! ;0)
ReplyDeleteLol! Yes, a very brilliant idea. :) My guys get it to the laundry, but drive me crazy with everything being inside out!
ReplyDeleteLOL! I have the inside out problem, too!
DeleteTurn that sucker on and hope your husband gets whapped in the face by a used pair of skivvies.
ReplyDeleteProblem solved.
*LOL* I can see where your boy gets his smarts! ;)
ReplyDeleteLOL, pretty hilarious. I have the same problem though I never encountered them on the ceiling fan :) I asked my husband why the clothes are on the floor and he said, " they magically transport themselves on their own back to the hamper so why bother. " :)
ReplyDeleteLOL, oh my! I better not tell my guys about this post or else I may find undergarments hanging from our livingroom ceiling fan. ; )
