After my son got done with his bath last night, I noticed an unusual, but slightly familiar smell. I wondered what it could be. I went into the bathroom to investigate. What I found was most interesting. Globs of white, foamy stuff covered the sink, the counters, and the bathtub. An empty can of shaving cream was on the floor - telltale evidence identifying the strange white foam.
"Bubba," I called. "Come here."
He came.
"What's this?" I asked.
"Shaving cream clouds," he answered.
"Yes. Shaving cream clouds," I repeated. "Why exactly would you use an entire can of shaving cream to decorate the bathroom this way?"
"Because having a bath in the clouds is fun!"
Of course.
How on earth did he wash off all the shaving cream? Tell him he's too young to start shaving yet.
ReplyDeleteApparently the shower took care of the mess on Bubba, but what we had to clean in the bathroom was another story!
DeleteWell of course, I have to agree! I love that your kid feels free enough to do stuff like this. Says a lot about you as a Mom.
ReplyDeleteThat I like to clean? :0)
Deletemethinks Schultz should start guarding the bathroom while Bubba is in.... A canine bathhouse guardian is what you need!
ReplyDeleteHe probably would've eaten the shaving cream! A good help he would've been!
DeleteBath in the clouds, nothing wrong with that, except when you have to clean the clouds up haha
ReplyDeleteShaving cream clouds are not easy to clean up!
DeleteBubba, Mama will drive you to the store so you can replace that can of shaving cream you wasted. You will pay for the new can with your own money, and you won't be wasteful again.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
Haha! Thanks, blog mom! I'll let him know.
DeleteHi Sherry! My name is Heather and I wanted to know if you would be able to answer a question I have about your blog! My email is Lifesabanquet1(at)gmail(dot)com :-)
ReplyDeleteHahahahahahahahah. I totally spit iced coffee out my nose but it was totally worth it. You crack me up.
ReplyDeleteI hope the ice didn't cut your nose as it came out. ;0)
DeleteLOLOLOL.
DeleteYou are funny. No, thankfully.
Of course, having a bath in the clouds is so much fun!
ReplyDeleteMaybe I'll try it. ;0)
DeleteAww. How can you argue with that logic?
ReplyDeleteA bath in the clouds sounds good to me.
DeleteSounds like a great plan to me
ReplyDeleteA bath in the clouds may be fun, but I doubt cleaning all those clouds up is!
ReplyDeleteClean up was most definitely not fun!
DeleteHide the shaving cream, as well as the cotton puffs and toothpaste.
ReplyDeleteObviously, I'm going to have to!
DeleteThat kid knows how to have a good time!
ReplyDeleteThat he does!
DeleteFrom the mouth of babe, so cute. Since I'm new to your blog you may have already covered this, but I hope you're keeping a copy of these adventures to put into a book for your youngsters. It would make for a fun gift for them say at their graduation or maybe a gift to their spouse-to-be when they get married.
ReplyDeleteI have a couple of options up my sleeve. One is to do a blog-to-book thing, but I'm not sure if it can be done on blogger. The other is to create a comic book version of some of these posts. We'll see what happens.
DeleteHey I like his logic! LOL
ReplyDeleteHe has a great way of thinking!
DeleteBubba is a creative genius. Maybe he will be an artist when he grows up???
ReplyDeleteWe'll see!
