Remembering Tina Downey


On August 23, 2014, the blogging community lost a very special lady.  Tina Downey struggled with pulmonary hypertension, hypoglycemia, and sever asthma.  But did she let that get in the way of being cheery and supportive?  No way!  Tina was one of the most supportive, funny people in the blogosphere, and she always had great things to say in her comments.

So we in the blogging community are remembering this awesome person and celebrating the life we were so privileged to share.

I planted these sunflowers for you, Tina!  Thanks for brightening our days!

    Tina would love that, Sherry!! We are going to color the entire blogging world with sunflowers tomorrow. Some people just have that special kind of impact on the world. Tina was one of those people and blessed everyone she knew.

    Loved Tina, she was a beautiful person.
    My kids planted our sunflowers, the rain has helped them to grow.

    She would love those flowers. She would have a sassy but sweet comment and then sign off with some funny phase. That's just how she was.

    They grew so fast and beautiful. For me it is winter now, so I had to resort to photos from last year. She would have loved your sunflowers.
