It is time for the How I Miss You Blogfest!
Hosted by
It's all about the bloggers you miss and the ones you would miss if they were gone.
So here we go. Of course I'd miss all of you if you were gone. You're the people who make blogging so much fun, and the reason I sit here sharing my crazy stories day after day. Thank you for making this such a great community!
Here are the bloggers I've been missing: David Walston. He's a big Dr. Who fan, and I always loved his posts and comments. I hope he comes back! And then there's Dana. She's probably really busy with her new baby, but I sure miss her Friday Funnies and Sunday Inspirations. Finally, there's Arni. She had a baby, too. I've only seen her a couple of times since then. But she was always such a nice person, and felt like a kindred spirit. I hope some day she returns!
Here are the bloggers I'd miss if they were gone. Holy Ghost Writer. He's got some pretty interesting stories from the Order, explaining why things are the way they are. Heather Holden. She's a very talented comic writer. I enjoy her series that she posts. And Medeia Sharif. I've never seen anyone work so hard with writing. I love reading about her goals and accomplishments. She's quite an inspiration!

Who would you miss if they were gone?
Thanks for participating in our blogfest!
ReplyDeleteDavid hopes to be back when work isn't so crazy.
I'd really miss Medeia and Holy Ghost Writer as well.
I just saw David's recent post. Sounds like he's had a lot going on!
DeleteWhat a lovely hop! So nice to celebrate bloggers we know and love (and miss). I always enjoy visiting Medeia's blog. She is amazing and works so hard. I don't recall visiting Heather's blog or Holy Ghost Writer. I will have to check them out. :)

I think this is a really nice blog hop to do.
DeleteI would miss YOU!
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
I would miss you, too!
DeleteI would miss so many people. I do miss several already, but especially Tina.
ReplyDeleteTina is definitely missed. A lot of bloggers listed her as one they're missing.
DeleteWhat Rachel said. I miss Tina too. As for current bloggers, I have so many I can't even name them all. So... how about nobody vanish?
ReplyDeleteThat would be nice. But unfortunately, life gets in the way for many of us.
DeleteI've been missing David Walston as well. His comments always made my day. :)
ReplyDeleteYes, he does leave great comments. And his comments on comments he receives on posts are really good, too!
Deleteafter 10 years of blogging (next month), there are many I miss... and like you, often wonder what happened.
ReplyDeleteYou've been blogging ten years? Wow! I think it's been four for me. Not too many have been around that long!
DeleteThere are a few that were fun that are gone, many I'd miss that are here now.
ReplyDeleteThey come and go. I'd definitely miss you if you were gone!
DeleteThat would be a tough one, actually--trying to come up with bloggers I miss. I usually don't even notice someone hasn't posted in a while until I stumble upon their blog one day and realize it's outdated!
ReplyDeleteI notice when regular commentors disappear. It's sad when you have a friend that suddenly drops off the grid.
DeleteI have missed all the blogs too mam. But will make a point to join them.
ReplyDeleteThat's good. Sometimes people just stop blogging, though. Life changes, and people have to leave.
DeleteI miss Dana as well! She's always been one of my best blogging friends. I would miss so so many...
ReplyDeleteDana is awesome! I'm sure she has her hands full with her kids, though.
DeleteYes, I would miss Medeia Sharif too. I need to go check out these other awesome sounding bloggers!
ReplyDeleteThey're all very nice!
DeleteI am loving so many, I can't pick one - but I'd miss Shady Del Knight and Janie Junebug most of all.
ReplyDeleteI would definitely miss Janie. She's my blog mom! ;0)
DeleteI'm not sure I know any of these bloggers. Thanks for the introductions, Sherry!
ReplyDeleteThanks for co-hosting this. Glad I could introduce you to some new bloggers.
DeleteHi Sherry .. you've mentioned some new names .. and some I know but don't visit that often ... it's always difficult seeing friends drop off the blogging sphere, or worse leaving this life way too soon ..
ReplyDeleteCheers to you and have a good Thanksgiving - Hilary
Right. Like Tina. She's definitely missed!
DeleteThose wonderful bundles of joy really take up a lot of a person's life. Totally understandable when their blogging suffers.
ReplyDeleteI could never do blogging when my kids were little, so I completely understand!
DeleteI agree, Medeia Sharif is quite an inspiration!
ReplyDeleteShe really has a great work ethic, and is so disciplined!
DeleteHahaha, just got your comment. Uggs and toys, eh? We can make that a ticket for three, no problem.
ReplyDeleteHaha! Excellent. I'll pack Schultz's bags!
DeleteI've nominated this blog for the One Lovely Blog Award! Go to my blog to grab the image and find out how to participate further. http://djsthoughts-dj.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteGreat! Thanks, Diana!
DeleteI miss Sir Dave of Walstonia too!
ReplyDeleteArni's hubs is in some kind of trouble, and that is why she is more absent than not :(
David is missed by many. I don't quite understand Arni's situation, but it does sound rather complicated. Hope things get straightened out for her and her hubs. She's such a nice woman!
DeleteI'm worried too, I thought maybe he was imprisoned for something, you know how delicate cultural things are over there! You can get arrested for smiling in public.
DeleteI know a couple of these but, mostly, it's more people to add to the blogs I need to meet.
ReplyDeleteI know only a few, but at the end of the day blogging is a wonderful way to keep in touch, some do fall by the wayside but it's wonderful to hear from them again. Thanks for visiting me, I have had a few health problems but nothing serious , also thanks for following me again, likewise I will do the same to you.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to see you, again! Thanks for the re-follow! ;0)
DeleteHi Sherry! Thanks for visiting my blog today via the blogfest. I'll have to check out your recommendations in the coming days! I read your post on the fire at your daughter's school (I'm a recently retired teacher). I'm glad that she is oaky. What a perfect example of how important friends are at that age. LOL! Happy writing to you!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting! Yes, the episode at the school was very scary. Fortunately, nobody was hurt.
DeleteThe order appreciates the shout out! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome! I'm so happy the Order is pleased. ;0)
DeleteI miss Dana too. There are a lot of bloggers that I would miss if they stopped blogging. Glad you're still here to make me smile. :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you're here, too! You're another I'd really miss if you were gone!
DeleteThis is a wonderful Blogfest.
ReplyDeleteI have lost a few bloggers to death - and my world is diminished - and still richer for knowing them.
And I would hate to lose anymore. I get so much from the blogosphere. Education, beauty, laughter, different persepectives...
It's really fun to connect with people from all over the world. You're right - you gain new perspectives from seeing their points of view and learning about their experiences.
DeleteWhat a nice idea for a blogfest and a good way to pay respects to those who have left for various reasons and to tell others how much you enjoy their work.
ReplyDeleteI think it's a wonderful idea for a blog hop. I did this last year, too. I hope the ritual lasts!
DeleteMedeia is AMAZING! A real inspiration...
ReplyDeleteShe sure is!
DeleteI'd really miss Medeia.
ReplyDeleteA lot of people would!
DeleteI only know Heather and Medeia's blogs. Time I visited the others you've linked up!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great list. I'm gonna check out the people you said you'd miss.
ReplyDeleteAw, thanks so much for mentioning me, and for linking to Echo Effect. I would miss you, too, if you suddenly disappeared. Your posts are always a lot of fun to read!
ReplyDeleteI finally got around to spending more time on the blog world. Thank you so much. Happy to visit your blog again and catch up with your previous posts.
