"Mama," my ten-year-old son said. "Did you know we're the silly family?"
I raised my eyebrows. "I suppose we are rather silly."
"No," he said. "We're really the silly family."
Apparently I was missing something. "What do you mean?"
"If you spell our name backwards, it's 'Sille.' Silly!"
I'd never noticed. I guess that explains a few things!
He's very observant!
ReplyDeleteYes, he is. I'm not sure I would have ever noticed that.
DeleteDaddy will be so proud
ReplyDeleteI'll have to tell him. He'll get a chuckle out of it.
DeleteLeave it to Bubba to make you the official Silly Family!
ReplyDeleteHe has a point. You are Sille/Silly.
ReplyDeleteYes, he does!
Delete*hee* What a fun observation! :)
ReplyDeleteI laughed when he told me that.
DeleteOh yes :). well spotted!
ReplyDeleteThe kid doesn't miss a thing!
DeleteBetter to be silly than dull any day
ReplyDeleteI agree one hundred percent!
DeleteThat's rather clever of him!
ReplyDeleteI thought so, too.
DeleteGreat observation
ReplyDeleteBrilliant!
DeleteSmart, Sille boy.
ReplyDeleteVery sille! ;0)
DeleteTrust him to make that connection!
ReplyDeleteExactly!
DeleteI think he solved the mistery as to why you're so silly!
ReplyDeleteLeave it to him to figure it out!
DeleteNow that's just the Sille-est thing I've ever heard.
ReplyDeleteHaha! Yes, it was pretty silly!
DeleteSharp kid, you better keep an eye on him!
ReplyDeleteWe put the fun in dysfunctional.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
Haha! Good one.
DeleteSharp kid, you better keep an eye on him!
ReplyDeleteI know. You have to watch out for those smart ones.
DeleteHow observant of him.
ReplyDeleteHe's sharp to have noticed it.
ReplyDeleteI have to wondered what suddenly made him notice.
DeleteYes, he is!
ReplyDeleteThat kid sure knows how to make things interesting.
ReplyDeleteGold mine.
ReplyDeleteHehe! It's better to be a sille/silly family than a boring one.
ReplyDeleteKids are observant. I remember I was the one who figured out my first name and my last name are the same letters just moved around in a different order (and having an additional "e" lying around). My parents were surprised because they hadn't noticed.
Trust a kidling to spot it!
ReplyDeleteThere are far worse things than being a Sill(e) family; sounds more than a bit enticing actually.
