Bubba walked over and inspected my creation. "Nice!" Then he pointed at the cheese. "What's that?"
I explained.
"That would make a good cheese dip," he said.
"Yeah. It's good with fruit."
He grinned and walked over to the refrigerator. When he came back, he had some string mozzarella cheese in his hand. He dipped the cheese into the container of mascarpone cheese and took a bite. "Yep, I was right. It's a good cheese dip!"
Have you ever tried dipping cheese into a cheese dip? If so, how did it taste?
And before I go, I have some advertisements:
The publisher has reduced the cost of the ebook version of Bubba and Squirt's Big Dig to China to $2.99. That's the lowest it will go. Here are some buy links: Amazon US, Amazon CA, Amazon UK
If you'd like to see a video of a student review on the book, here it is:

Hi, Sherry!
ReplyDeleteI never heard of dipping cheese into a cheese dip. Leave it to your innovative Bubba to come up with the idea. My friends and I used to mix milk and ginger ale together to make a fizzy dairy beverage. No one I mention it to in recent years has heard of the practice. Have you?
I listened with great interest to the review of your book. Weeks ago I surmised, as does this reviewer, that Big Dig To China poses an opportunity for the young reader to be educated about Chinese history, culture and beliefs while at the same time being entertained by a fun and exciting story. Clearly you did a ton of research going into the project, and I believe that most readers will notice and appreciate it.
Have a great week, dear friend Sherry!
Hi, Tom. I had never heard of the practice of mixing milk and ginger ale together. Now I'm curious. I may have to try it.
DeleteEnjoy your week!
He probably has a stomach like grinder in the sink.
ReplyDeleteCould be. He eats all kinds of interesting concoctions.
DeleteYour son is so funny. That's something that my daughter would have done. I never tried it.
ReplyDeleteI think that would be a bit too cheesy for me.
DeleteExcuse me while I go and gag... Ick. (But then again, I'm not much of a cheese person.)
ReplyDeleteI hear you.
DeleteI love Bubba's imagination. If cheese is good, it's got to be better with cheese dip. :)
ReplyDeleteApparently he thought so.
DeleteGreat job Bubba! He's always keeping his imagination busy. :)
ReplyDeleteHe definitely has a great imagination!
DeleteLeave it to Bubba, you can't stop his imagination (-:
ReplyDeleteLeave it to him to come up with something like that!
DeleteDipping cheese into cheese? Never heard of that!! But, I bet it's good! Big Hugs!
ReplyDeleteHe thought it was good!
DeleteI love the video of the student review!
ReplyDeleteThanks for watching. I thought they did a nice job with it.
DeleteBubba has an excellent imagination.... I should try dipping cheese.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day
If you do, I hope you like it!
DeleteLol! Today's my daughter's bday and she is a huge cheese addict. You just gave me the perfect extra treat idea for her. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to your daughter! I hope she likes Bubba's concoction!
DeleteCheese dipped into cheese dip? Hmm! I can't say it appeals.
ReplyDeleteLoving the video.
That doesn't appeal to me, either.
DeleteThanks for watching the video! Glad you liked it.
Wow, what an innovative idea from Bubba!
ReplyDeleteI could write a book on his innovative ideas.
DeleteInnovative indeed:) I remember mixing hot sauce and oatmeal for breakfast in college - not the best combo, but it did wake me up in the morning :)
ReplyDeleteEwww. If I ate that, I'd be up, all right: up in the bathroom puking it up!
