Bubba and the Bean Stock

First, I'd like to say I'm sorry about not posting regularly these past few weeks. I was preparing for my recital, which I had this weekend. It was a lot of fun!  Here's a photo for those of you who like pictures:

I'm still going to be sporadic, because I'm working on a lot of writing projects with deadlines fast approaching. I'll do my best to be here whenever I can, though!

Now for the story:

I caught my boy, Bubba dangling his green Krav belt over the balcony rail.

"Dude," I said. "What exactly are you doing?"

"It's a bean stock, Mama. Climb up."

"Seriously, Bubba? It's a Krav belt, and there's no way I'm going to grab that thing while you're holding it, and try to climb up."

He looked at the belt. "No, Mama. You just have to use your imagination. It's a bean stock, and  I'm the giant at the top. I can pull you up!"

Right. (I have a great imagination, but I didn't buy that one!)

  2. Hi, dear Sherry! I am going to close my eyes now and use my imagination. I can imagine you falling and hurting yourself if you attempted Bubba's stunt. That's what I can imagine. :)

That is a great picture taken at the recital. You look stunning, dear friend! (Cassandra Peterson X Dita Von Teese)

  14. Glad the recital went well! I know what you mean about deadlines. I've had some of my own this month, and yeah, they definitely make it harder to keep up with the online world!

And LOL, I doubt I'd want to climb that beanstalk, either... XD

  18. Sherry, I don't think you need to apologize, especially when you're so busy performing and writing, and taking care of your family. Cheering you on in all your endeavors. And I wouldn't have followed Bubba on the bean stock either. LOL
