Here is an ode to Croaky:
He slurped and burped in Marshy Tank.
I held my nose because he stank.
No more we'll hear his alto croak.
I sure will miss that happy bloke!
RIP, Croaky!
And now for something totally different to entertain you. . . How I make music virtually because of COVID-19.
Hi, Sherry!
ReplyDeleteWhile no creature lives forever, I am nevertheless sorry to learn that your pet frog Croaky has passed away at Easter, leaving your family with bittersweet memories every year at this time. Twelve years seems like a good long life for a frog, so there's that.
I thoroughly enjoyed your demo and video. I got goose bumps when you began playing your violin. It happens every time. You play divinely, with feeling.
Take good care of yourself and your family and have a good week, dear friend Sherry!
Thank you, Tom.
DeleteSo sorry to hear about Croaky. Sounds like he was a fun friend. I always enjoy hearing you play.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mason.
DeleteAnd you play so beautifully!
ReplyDeleteSorry about Croaky. Wow, I didn't know frogs lived that long.
I had no idea, too, until after we'd bought him. That was a long time to clean his swamp!
DeleteSo sorry about Croaky. Thanks for sharing your music. You play beautifully.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Natalie.
DeleteOur frog Amanda is still very much alive and comes out at night to eat our cats' food, but her husband Stephen is long time dead.
ReplyDeleteSeriously? I had no idea frogs eat cat food.
DeleteI'm sorry to hear about Croaky.
ReplyDeleteHe lived a long time.
DeleteHe sure lived a long life, never knew they lived that long. Poor Croaky.
ReplyDeleteYou sure play wonderfully.
You kept a frog alive for twelve years, and for that alone you get a standing ovation

ReplyDeleteLoved the showing how the recording works and the final video. :)
It took a long time to put it all together. I learned a few things about video-editing in the process.
DeleteSorry for the loss of your frog.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog. Yeah, I'm doing the challenge. I'm a co-host and the team captain, so, yeah, it was kind of a given.
Wow! Maybe some day I'll do the challenge again.
DeleteI always enjoy hearing your play and this was informative
