If I Ever Stopped Writing...

This month's ISWG question made me laugh. Here it is:  If I ever stopped writing, what would I replace it with?  Friends, I am so ridiculously busy, I wouldn't need to replace it with anything! I work 3 jobs, one of which is being the Executive Director of an orchestra. My to-do lists are a mile long!

But seriously, if I didn't write at all, I'd probably practice more for all the gigs I do. Music is my main creative outlet. I've thought about composing music. At the moment, there's zero time for that. So, I guess if I felt the need to create something new, I'd compose.

What about you?

And here's what's been happening in my world:  Any guesses where this was taken?

  1. Pleased you enjoy music as well as writing, I was brought up with music then found poetry writing after I was widowed.
Hope all is well and happy with you.

  2. Music is a great creative outlet. Unfortunately, I could never play (or compose - what horror!). I'm tone-deaf, can't hold a tune. But I enjoy listening, specifically to classical music. Classical music concerts are my favorite outings. I envy you your ability to create music.

    1. Wanted to mention, I still stop by your blog, but there's no place to comment. Looks like your Cumberland Island trip was fun! I'd like to visit there someday.

  6. You are just like me! Music is my creative life right now. I haven't written an original song yet, but maybe it's time we both stretched our wings and tried?

    1. Yep. It's a lot. I'm always racing the clock. I love vacations, but inevitably, the stack of stuff to do is really high when I get back!

  9. Hi, Sherry!

Great answer! I have never known anyone busier than you, dear friend. I admire your stamina, and you amaze me with your talent and success as an author and as a musician. I am reluctant to hazard a guess as to where your globetrotting has taken you most recently as seen in that video clip. Can I rule out Rattlesnake Gulch, Wyoming? :)

Thank you for visiting Shady's Place while I was away on break. I need you to know that this is goodbye for an even longer period. Mrs. Shady and I are moving more than 1,000 miles away from our current location and there is a tremendous amount of work to be done here in Florida and up there at our new home. I hope to resume blogging in November and look forward to reconnecting with you then. Have a safe and productive summer, dear friend Sherry!

And yes, you can rule out Rattlesnake Gulch, Wyoming. :) Is that where you're going?

  11. You have your music, and I wonder if it isn't your *first* creative outlet. For me, I'd become a cat rescuer fulltime, cleaning litterboxes and herding cats. I'm only an amateur at it now.

That's so nice that you take care of cats. You seem like a very loving person. Those cats are lucky you came into their lives!

  12. Not nearly as creative as you and certainly not at all musical. If there were more hours in the day I'd love to write a book ... if only for myself.
Was your photo taken somewhere in Greece?

  16. I love your answer because it shows the effort you make to work writing into your life.

July 4 is Alice in Wonderland Day, a commemoration of when the story was first told to the Liddell sisters by Lewis Carroll in 1862.

  18. Just a couple of months ago, I gave this relationship doctor Robinson buckler a try. It was my last hope to get my ex husband back.

Weeks before my ex left me and our 2 children, there were a lot of argument and fighting between me and him. On the day he left me, he told me that he doesn't think he loved me any more and this was not working. I was so devastated hearing this, I begged him not to go and I even promised that I would change. But he made up his mind already. He packed his bags and left our house.

I tried calling him and texting him to tell him I miss him and still love him. I asked him to give us another chance. He slowly stopped replying to my messages and stopped picking up my calls.

I then searched the internet on how to get ex back, and even bought a few products such as text your ex back and ex recovery system. Nothing worked, and my ex was still very cold towards me.

When I was about to give up, I found Robinson buckler ex back program. He is a relationship coach with a lot of success stories. I knew what I needed was not a book but a coach to guide me how to make my ex fall in love with me again. I immediately signed up for his program.

In the first couple of days, I made a lot of good progress. I am happier and more confident. My ex saw the positive changes in me, and started to talk to me more and even asked me out for dates.

Fast forward two weeks later, my ex told me that he wants to give our relationship a second try. I was beyond happy when I heard that.

Now, we are closer and happier together. It would not have happened without Robinson buckler help.
