Latin Flavor Blog Hop Sign-Up

When:  September 14-18
Where:  Your Blog

On September 15th, my new book, Bubba and Squirt's Mayan Adventure, will be released. To help get the word out, I'm having a blog hop. It's called, "Latin Flavors."

In the book, Bubba and Squirt try a couple of Latin dishes. I thought it might be fun to share recipes of food from Mexico and Central America.

Here's what participants will do:

1. Share a favorite "Latin Flavor" recipe
2. Include information about my book in the post. I will provide all of that and send it to you a week before the blog hop.

If you'd like to participate, please sign up on the Linky List.

Thank you!

And to get you in a festive mood, here are some photos from my trip to Belize in 1998. They inspired several scenes in the story.

  2. Hi, Sherry!

Thanks for reporting in and telling us about the upcoming Latin Flavor hop. Last summer Mrs. Shady and I went to Central Mexico for ten days and had a wonderful time there. The city we stayed in, San Miguel, is a foodie paradise. Thanks for posting those pics taken on your trip to Belize. Mrs. S and I have been considering Belize as a possible retirement destination.

Counting down with less than a month to go before Bubba and Squirt's Mayan Adventure goes to market. I wish you great success with it.

Have a safe and happy week, dear friend Sherry!

    1. Belize's motto is "No shoes? No shirt? No problem!" It's very laid back. If you don't mind the dirt roads, heat, and insects, it may be a nice place to retire.

  3. Hi Sherry,
I don't like to cook. So I don't have any Latin recipes, but please email me your book info and I'll be happy to share on social media.
Excited for you and your next Bubba & Squirt book.
    Hugs,
    Tracy

    1. Thanks for signing up! Yes, that first photo is the Temple of Masonry Alters, the largest at Altun Ha. I visited Altun Ha on a trip to Belize. It's an archeological site where the jade head of the Mayan god of the sun was found. It's the largest jade carving ever found.
